Can I use a Ferret Nation cage for my hamster?? Can I use a Ferret Nation cage for my hamster?? Ok, right now my hamster has a aqaurium. It is about 45-50 gallons. I really do not like it, but i got it for free. I saw a picture of a rat cage that was made from a ferret nation. It looked so cool! I was wondering if anyone has ever done this for their hamster and if he would fit through the bars, ( he is teddy bear and kinda fat) and if he could what could I cover it with, or any other ideas.
