Ferret Question? Ok, I am getting a ferret in the next 2weeks and i am not sure if i have all the supplies for my ferret. The things I have for the ferret are: a cage that is made out of wire ( i already put carpet on the wire floor), a crinkle tunnel, a plastic food bowl ( i know I have to get a stronger bowl) a water bottle with a armor protecter so the ferret cant bite the water bottle, a litter box, the litter that goes in the litter box, a tennist ball to play with, and a ferret hammock. I alredy know I need the ferret food. Do I have all the supplies that i need for the ferret? Please help! NO BLOCKS OR WOODEN TOYS NO RUBBER THAT CAN BE CHEWED Ferrets will get a blockage in their tummies and intestines and you will have to run to a vet it can and in most cases will kill them if not removed, You will need ferretone,feritvite,And please try to feed raw fresh chkn bones and meat in blender or make jerky for them,Ferret diet ,and Blue wilderness is a good ferret food nothing with high fiber OH AND NO RASINS NO ONIONS NO GARLIC NO CHOCOLATE NO CAFFINE NO COFFEE Get their rabies and distemper shots get the distemper seperate from the rabies so there wont be a reaction. And play with them as much as you can they are very friendly and love for you to play with them, They do a lil dance that looks like a crazy dance it is their dance of joy and is no way a dance of death or fear they just wanna play with you.
