 Is it okay if I get my ferret kitten food instead of ferret food? Well they stopped selling my ferret's regular food at the pet store(Innova EVO) But they still sell Innova EVO for kittens. I checked the Ingredients, and there's not much different from the ferret version. Can this kitten food be enough nutrients for my ferret as a main meal? I also usually mix her food with 8 in 1 chicken blend, and her daily supplements are ferretone and ferrevite, also weekly lax for preventing hairballs. It's perfectly fine. I know lots of people who feed the cat/kitten mix, and I have myself. Ferrets and cats are both strict carnivores and have the same nutritional needs. Evo has recently changed their ferret and cat formula, and both are completely identical now, so if you get a new formula bag there's barely a difference, if any. |
